New coworking space coming to downtown Houston

New York-based coworking company Bond Collective has signed a two-floor lease at downtown's Pennzoil Place for its first Houston location.

The company will turn 25,871 square feet into one of its upscale office hubs typically used by corporations or individuals who don't have permanent workspaces.

As co-working companies continue to expand across New York City, they are increasingly fighting over the same vacant spaces. Silber said that it’s often brokers and landlords who stoke competition between co-working companies. “These guys are really creating that,” he said. “If Spaces looks at a space I’m going to get an email saying, ‘Oh Spaces is really interested in this deal, you guys should look at it’.”

Co-working company Bond Collective expands into Soho, Greenpoint

Co-working company Bond Collective is branching out into two new neighborhoods.The New York City-based firm inked a 25,000-square-foot lease for six floors at 158 Lafayette Street in Soho and a 23,000-square-foot lease in the former Levitown Lightbulb Factory at Tryad Group’s 276 Greenpoint Avenue in Greenpoint.

Coworking company Bond Collective grows its footprint in the city

The company is leasing a 25,000-square-foot office building at 158 Lafayette St. in Soho and a 23,000-square-foot space in 276 Greenpoint Ave., an office building in Greenpoint. Shlomo Silber, chief executive and founder of Bond Collective, said the firm would use the spaces to cater to growing demand from larger tenants who want flexible offices with amenities.

Bond Collective, a design-centric coworking space, is coming to Suburban Station.

"The coworking boom continues in Philly, with the news that Bond Collective, a design-centric workspace company, will set up shop at the top of Suburban Station in spring 2018. Bond Collective is based out of New York, where it currently has five locations. It recently received $50 million to expand to 30 locations by 2020, and chose Philly as the first city for its expansion."

Bond Collective raises $50 million to expand co-working beyond New York.

"So far, Bond has leased the top floor of 20-story One Penn Center in Philadelphia’s Center City district, and aims to lease sites in Chicago, Washington and likely Austin, Texas, Silber told Reuters."
